  1. I purchased the developer’s package a couple years ago. I am noticing that all the new themes you guys have released since then are indeed available for me to download but they always require a ‘license key’ before being able to adjust the theme options. How do I acquire these license keys? Thank you.

  2. The Swell Theme doesn’t use the featured slider in the homepage. You would be looking at using the ‘Featured Content’ page template to have a featured slideshow which links to posts as in our other themes. To do so you would be following these steps after activating the JetPack plugin:

    1) Create a new page and assign to the Featured Content page template under Page Attributes.
    2) If you want this page to display as your homepage, navigate to Appearance > Customize > Static Front Page and assign this page to the Front page using the static front page option.
    3) Create new posts and assign them to a featured tag, e.g. ‘slider’. (Note we use tags instead of categories to assign posts to the slider in the Swell Theme).
    4) Navigate to Appearance > Customize > Featured Content and assign the tag in #3 to the Featured Content box.

    • Hi Jake,
You will need to add a featured image to your posts in order for them to display in a banner as in the demo. For future questions, please direct these to our support forum: http://organicthemes.com/support. We’ll be glad to assist you there!

      Thank you!

  3. Hi,

Quick question: how do I add the sidebar to the homepage. It was there but it’s vanished and I’d like it back again.

  4. Hello people!

We’ve bought the theme a while ago, and didn’t have any problems with it. Except for one thing. When we try to place more than 4 widgets in a row in the footer section, the desktop layout gets messed up. Just like the 4th widget gets very wide.

So my question is clear i guess. How can i fix this? Or can you guys help me with a solution?

    Greetings Tommy

    • Hi Tommy,

There is an extra 20% width set to the last widget in the footer which is why it’s showing wider. If you need help changing this you can open a new thread to the support forum: http://organithemes.com/support and we’ll be glad to help you with this.

      Thanks!

  5. Website responsiveness question:

The WordPress Swell theme looks great on my phone except for the header image.
My header image will only shrink down to 960 px wide correctly before I start to lose the right side of the image as the page shrinks smaller. On my phone I get maybe half the image.
Is there a “@media query” line of code I can adjust to allow the header to shrink properly on cell phones? If so, which page would I find that in on the WordPress editor?

    Thanks.

    • Hi Lenny,

Please keep in mind that all support questions should be directed to our support forum (http://organicthemes.com/support). In the meantime, you can find all the media queries and mobile styling in the style-mobile.css which you may need to access via FTP. Keeping an image intact while being responsive can be quite difficult, so it’s best to keep an image which doesn’t need to be displayed fully. It will always shrink or expand depending on the display used.

      Thanks!
